Experience
Chad Collins has been writing professionally about film, especially horror films, since 2020. He started as a contributor for Dread Central and later branched out with pieces for Gayly Dreadful, Rue Morgue, Certified Forgotten, Anatomy of a Scream, and several others. In 2021, Chad was welcomed on as both a staff writer at Dread Central and a features writer at /Film. Since then, he has been fortunate enough to better enmesh himself into the genre, attending the Sundance Film Festival, Fantasia International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, South by Southwest, and several others. For /Film, he has even assembled a lengthy list on the 95 best horror movies ever made.
Education
Chad Collins received his B.A. in Media Studies from Flagler College and his M.A. in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Central Florida. He is especially interested in the way media shapes the way people connect and share with others.
